Create your next blog post with Cardel
A blog can be critical in building a community around your craft. With Cardel, your blog is a standard part of your own site, not somewhere separate you have to link out to. It uses your theme and your brand, so every post looks like it belongs next to everything else you've built.
Writing a post is simple. Give it a title, write it, and add a few tags and a share image if you want the link to look good when people share it on social media. If you’re not finished, save it as a draft and come back to it later. If it’s ready, publish it. And if you’d rather it went out another morning, pick the date and time and it’ll go live on its own via the scheduler.
The first time a post goes live, you can automatically let your subscribers know by email. Check the box when you publish or schedule, and Cardel sends it through a workflow you set up when you configure in your admin dashboard. It only sends out that first time, so fixing a typo later won’t email everyone again.

When readers show up
Readers only see what you’ve published. Drafts and scheduled posts stay out of sight. Anyone can read your posts. Once they’re signed in, they can like a post or a comment and join the conversation. Commenting requires a verified email for each reader.
If a comment doesn’t belong, as an admin, you can hide it or delete it. New comments show up as notifications on your site, so your email inbox doesn’t fill up with alerts.

Keep an eye on the comments and update it when you need to.
A few things worth knowing
The Blog page keeps its small "BLOG" label at the top, but the headline under it is yours to change in Editor Mode or Guided Mode. If you ever decide you don’t want a blog, hide it in Page builder and it disappears from your header and from search. The subscriber email only goes out on new posts once your site is published, so nothing errantly reaches your audience list while you’re still setting things up.
