Newsletter

Write an email, pick who gets it, and send it from your own domain when you're ready.

Send the letter you actually want to write

Some emails go out on their own when you publish something. Others are the ones you sit down and write because you've got something to say. Newsletter is for those: one email, the people you choose, and a Send button you press when it's ready.

Sent the way inboxes expect

Your newsletter goes out from your own domain, using the records Cardel helped you verify. Every one includes an unsubscribe link, already in the starter draft, plus the one-click unsubscribe that Gmail and Yahoo ask bulk senders for. Right before each copy goes out, Cardel checks that the person is still subscribed and still in the groups you picked, so nobody who left gets one by accident.

Cardel keeps an eye on delivery after you send, too. Addresses that bounce for good, or mark you as spam, come off your list automatically, and Metrics shows how each newsletter landed.

Write it with the tools you know

You write it with the same tools as your templates: a live preview, a plain text version, HTML if you want it, and the AI Email Builder if you'd like a hand. Labels can greet each person by name. Saving keeps your draft. It doesn't send anything.

Send it and get on with your day

When you're ready, pick your groups, tags, or both. Subscribed people in the groups you chose will get it, and if you add tags too, they'll also need at least one of those. Before anything goes out, Cardel shows you how many people that is and asks you to confirm. Then it sends in the background, so you can close the tab.

The history shows what went out. If the mail service turned any addresses away, open the failed count to see each one and the reason, then retry one address or all of them.

How it works

  1. Start a new newsletter and write it, or ask the AI Email Builder for a first draft.

  2. Save when the preview looks right.

  3. Pick at least one group or tag.

  4. Check the number of people, confirm, and send.

A few things worth knowing

A newsletter doesn't go out automatically when you publish a post. That's what Workflows are for. Sending opens up once your site is published on a paid plan with your own domain connected. Starter sends up to 5,000 marketing emails a month, Pro sends 15,000, and Studio sends 30,000 to 150,000. If you've reached your limit, Send will let you know.
