Orders

Every sale from your Shop lands here automatically, right next to the ones you add yourself, so you always know what's paid and what's done.

Keep track of every sale

Once someone buys, the rest is up to you: what they ordered, whether it's paid, and whether it's been delivered. Orders keeps all of that in one list, so nothing slips through the cracks.

Only real, confirmed sales

An order from your Shop shows up once Stripe confirms the payment, already marked paid, with the buyer's name and email, what they bought, and the total. Before Cardel records anything, it checks that the update really came from Stripe, so nobody can slip a fake sale into your list.

Each order keeps its Stripe reference, so you can find the same payment in your Stripe dashboard in seconds. And if you try to add a Stripe charge that's already in your list, Cardel catches it instead of counting it twice.

Everything in one place

Each order shows who bought it, what they got, the total, and where it stands on payment and delivery. Open one to see the details, leave yourself a note, or update its status. At the top, you'll see your sales for this month, the last week or month, or any dates you pick.

Sold something in person, or sent an invoice? Add Order lets you record it by hand, or bring in a Stripe charge you already have. You can even rename the statuses to fit how you work, so Requested can become Booked, and choose which ones show up in the list.

When an order's status changes, Cardel can email the buyer to let them know, using a template you've set up. It only goes to that buyer. It's not a newsletter.

Blog:

How it works

  1. Someone buys on your site, or you add the order yourself.

  2. Open Orders to see payment and delivery status.

  3. Update the status as you go.

  4. If you've set up an email for that status, the buyer hears from you automatically.

A few things worth knowing

Orders comes with Pro and Studio. Items that link out to another site don't create orders here, but you can always add those sales by hand. Refunds happen in your Stripe dashboard. Mark the order refunded or partially refunded here, so your sales numbers match. The Workspace Owner manages orders, and so can any Admin you give access to. Connecting Stripe stays with the Owner, in Payments.
