Build the pages you need on your site with Cardel
On your site, the Home page always stays. The other standard pages are a choice to display: About, Blog, Community, Contact, Newsletter, and Videos. A page you hide is removed from the header, the footer, and Home. Anyone who opens that address is redirected to your home address. You can choose to re-display it at any time.
A new custom page is a "Showcase" or a "Shop" page. Showcase pages are for work people browse like a gallery, projects, or a collection. Shop pages are for items with a price and a call-to-action button like a product, service, or package.
You choose the URL address once, such as /gallery or /services. After that it stays, but the page name can be changed. Copy the page if you need another address without the hassle of moving the content over. You add the items on the live page in Editor Mode or Guided Mode: a title, a photo or a video, and the details. A Shop item can also have a price and a button. The button can be used to sell through stripe, link out, or schedule an appointment.
How a page gets added
Open Page builder and hide any built-in page you are not using.
Create a custom page, choose Showcase or Shop, and set the URL address.
Publish the page.
Turn on Editor Mode or Guided Mode, open that address or navigate to that step, and add the items.
Good to know
The Starter plan includes one Showcase page and one Shop page. Pro allows five of each. Studio does not cap them. Shop items have their own limit. Stripe checkout and scheduling on the site are Pro and Studio features. Starter can still publish a Shop page that links out to an item being sold, or out to a scheduler tool.
Additional pages that are on your site, but not configured with Page Builder, include RSS, Brand, Site Map, Unsubscribe, Privacy Policy, and Terms of Service.
