Pages that are ready before anyone asks

Cardel prepares your published pages ahead of time, so a reader gets a finished page instead of waiting for one to be built. When you publish or save, Cardel refreshes your pages, and only yours. A change on another Cardel site never clears the pages on your site.

Images sized for every screen

When you upload a photo, Cardel saves it at the sizes your pages actually show, from your home page hero and About portrait to your blog, Shop, and Showcase images. A phone gets a phone-sized image instead of the full original. Your logo appears with the first view of the page instead of popping in after it. When you import a brand kit, a progress bar shows each size being made while you stay on the page.

YouTube videos show their preview image right away and load the player as they come into view, so they don't hold up the rest of the page when loading.

Moving around feels quick

Pages you've already opened come right back. Pointing at a link starts getting the next page ready, so most clicks open at once. If a page needs a moment, the loader appears as soon as you click instead of leaving you on the page you just left, and the new page opens at the top. After you upgrade your plan, you land back on the page where you started.

Large email sends in the background

When you send a newsletter or a workflow starts, the emails go out in the background, in batches. You can keep writing or move to another part of Admin while they send. The history shows how each email send goes, and you can cancel or retry a batch run if you need to.

A few things worth knowing

There's no speed setting to adjust. It's just how Cardel works. When you're signed in to Admin or saving a change, you always see the live site, so what you edit is current. The fastest, ready-made pages are for your readers. The first visit right after a change can take a moment longer while the page is prepared, and visits after that are quick again.
