SEO

Every public page describes itself clearly in search and in shared links, and only what you've published is listed.

Help people find what you've made

When someone finds your page in search, or sees a link to it in a group chat, the preview should tell them exactly what they're about to open. Cardel handles that page by page, using the words you already wrote. There's no SEO plugin to install and no screen of settings to learn. Your site speaks for itself, with its own content, under your name.

Every page describes itself

Each public page gets its own title and description, so your pages don't blur together in search results. A post uses its title and its opening lines. A Shop or Showcase item uses its Short text. Your Videos, Newsletter, and Contact pages use the words you wrote on them, or your tagline. Placeholder text that still says "Enter a …" is skipped, so pages you haven't finished don't all look the same.

That means a clear title and a strong first paragraph do double duty. They help the person reading, and they're what search shows before anyone clicks.

Blog: How to Write SEO-Friendly Blog Posts That People Want to Read

Links that look right when shared

When someone shares your page, the preview shows your site's name and a share image. Give a post its own share image so it shows when the link is posted on social media, and Shop items can use their own photo. Every other page uses your brand logo based on your brand kit, or your home page photo with your site name and tagline if you don't have a brand kit setup. Your site icon shows in the browser tab and next to your pages in search results.

Search engines know what they're looking at

Cardel tells search engines what kind of page each one is: an article, a person, a product, a video, or a discussion. Your About page introduces you by your site name and the social profiles you've linked. Shop items people can buy right on your site, with a price set, can appear in search as products.

Each page has one address. If you move to your own domain, visitors and search engines that use the old address are sent to the new one, so your pages aren't split between two addresses.

A map of your site that keeps itself current

Your site has a readable HTML Site map in the footer for users, an XML version search engines and AI tools read, and an RSS feed of your blog posts for feed readers. AI search tools get a specialized guide to your site as well. All of them are built from what's actually public, so they update automatically when you publish, hide, or remove something.

Unpublished posts, hidden pages, a booking page you haven't turned on, site previews, and your Admin view all stay out of search.

Blog:

How it works

  1. Publish the pages and posts you want people to find.

  2. Give each one a clear title and a strong opening, and add a share image where the link matters.

  3. Cardel updates your site map, RSS feed, and search details on its own.

  4. Search engines can actually find you.

A few things worth knowing

Cardel handles the technical side of search. Being found still depends on what you publish: useful writing, clear titles, and links between related pages. Hidden sites are excluded from search by design until published.
